The mass of on object increases as its velocity increases, on a parabolic curve. Most of this increase in mass occurs at velocities greater than 90% of the speed of light. Einstein's Theory of Relativity does not allow a body to be accelerated TO the speed of light, (it's mass would become infinite), but does allow for velocities beyond the speed of light, where the body's mass would begin to decrease. At 1.1 times the speed of light, it would be the same as it was at 90%, and its mass would continue to decrease at even faster velocities.

Not true.
Not happening.
Clickbait.

I don't even look at articles like this because it's either

1) Clickbait
2) Some reporter extrapolating from some minor discovery like if they were able to extract DNA from a cancer cell the title would be "Cure for Cancer On the Horizon!"

Too many science fiction fans out there.

It's not really clickbait for the people in theoretical physics who seem to be interested in the new theories but for the rest of us.... at least I enjoyed the reference to ludicrous speed.
