I'm just at my friends place, he recently contacted these two. A young girl came to his house, asked for the money and then took off while he was making them a drink. He's shaken up a bit but needed to get the warning out. It's a conundrum for him, he's worried about contacting the police, crimestoppers referred him back to the police - it's a lesson for sure.

Hopefully, this won't happen to anyone else.

Use your head guys!!

Why would you hand her money at the door? Since you are a babe in the woods on this one - you don't get an incall to your house either, unless its a agency you know!! Now they know what you look like, what car you drive, and any other information they got out of you on the phone call. Someone who is doing the dash and run is going to have a few more scams up there sleeves, and you just opened your door for them. Blackmail you to the wife, or if you don't have a wife they many already know that and now know when you are home or not. There are enough scams out there, you don't need to set yourself up.

And no you don't call the cops, because at best its he said, she said, you say the money was for sex (good luck there) she say it was for the Pizza she gave you ordered and you already ate. If the cops stop laughing at you long enough to waste the manpower to track down a disposable cell phone. More than likely she broke the law in your phone conversation if you got specific at all, she didn't get busted for that so she isn't going to get busted coming to your door either.

You could get a burner phone, or just block yours and send them on wild goose chases all night if you wanted revenge.
