Brampton man faces Child Prostitution charges, Corey Clayton Greer, 21

On Friday, February 16, 2007, a Brampton man was arrested in relation to nine Child Prostitution-related charges involving a 16-year-old girl. This follows an investigation by members of the Special Victims Section, with assistance from Peel Regional Police’s Vice Unit.
It is alleged that:
- the accused recruited a 16-year-old girl to work for him as a prostitute in Toronto,
- he directed the victim where and when to work, how much to charge for various sex acts and provided her with a cellphone to keep him up-to-date with her activities,
- he made arrangements for the victim to live in a high-rise condo in the Mississauga area.
Corey Clayton Greer, 21, of Brampton was charged with:
1) Procuring a person to become a prostitute,
2) Procure illicit sex,
3) Exercise control (2 counts),
4) Sexual exploitation,
5) Living on the avails of prostitution,
6) Living on the avails of prostitution (under 18),
7) Living on the avails of prostitution (under 18 w/ threats/violence),
8) Obstruct peace officer.
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 2 p.m.
Police believe there may be other victims.
