I want to buy a new Fido cell phone (pay-as-you-go). I'm considering the one linked below (Sony Ericsson Z710i). What do people think?

It would be nice to be able to check my email with my cell, but it's not a requirement (I don't want a blackberry). Is doing so with a cell phone slow and cumbersome/costly?

I have unlimited internet on my plan, it is not costly for me

How easy is it to do though? Does it take forever to load webpages?

Is now a good time to buy a new cellphone or is there some new latest-greatest technology about to be released?
