Just as well, we didn't have the full line-up

... alas, I missed the Punters' gitg at the Shoe. My sorrow was slightly aleviatged by the fact that I was at a wonderful out of town festival, with much smashing music.
I've seemed a bit critical/sour about the Wank Punters, and I was upbraided by Dani (whom, I think, sings with them or wiggles her lovely derriere on stage with them), so I certainly can't criticise a show I couldn't be at.
A sub drummer was used for the Shoe. He's not our main guy and although a great drummer (he does the Rush albums on the CAL Live series) he really only had 3 rehearsals to get it together. Wonderbread was galavanting on the East coast with his bread & butter gig. He was booked prior to us taking the Shoe gig so we had to reconnoiter on that one. So it's just as well that you couldn't make it out.
There was a 4th rehearsal scheduled but the dude slept in. As a penalty for missing such a crucial full dress rehearsal, I got him to wear pajamas and a night cap for his stage costume and changed his name from Captain Fist to Ripped Van Twinkle. lol The guy was a great sport about it and didn't even put up a fuss.
But it was a fun night, that's for sure. And the girls were certainly hot!
Further developments for the band: we've brought in a new killer bass player. I felt it was the missing link for the live act and after this evenings rehearsal, I'm convinced that the new guy is gonna rock.
He's an actor as well (Actra acredited) and is a spitting image of Ben Stiller (think Zoolander). Lucky enough, I was able to get the P2 work visa adjusted to include him in just the nic of time. So he'll be with us on the LA sojourn. We were going to wait until the band returned from LA but decided to make the move now seeing as he knows all the material flawlessly.
Dani? Thanx for the kind words. I'll pass it on to the boys & girls as I'm sure they'll appreciate it.
Definitely looking forward to LA. Black Widow Productions is hosting a party in the band's honor. It'll be at Tangerine and it's right on the strip just a few minutes stroll from the Whisky.
Speaking of which, that show almost got derailed due to a boycott of the band. You can read all about it here on Rock Confidential:

Sheik? As for the cute blonde Anon was refering to, I believe he meant my very own little Fluffette. lol Sometimes the perks can be rather pleasant I'll have to admit.

Marshall, are your amps gonna be used by the Punters around Toronto in the near future?
Not quite sure what you meant by this query so I'll assume that you're asking if the band will be using a backline supporter on the tour. For the LA trip, indeed. Backline will be neccessary as I don't want to be carting gear all that distance. And we found an amazing place that has all this vintage gear such as the classic Marshall 800's etc.
