Stay far away from Super 8, one of the dirtiest shit holes in existence. Stay away from the Virginia Beach Resort on the dirty weedy Chesapeake Bay side, for $160 a night. There is really no kitchen, despite what they advertise. A small bar sink and a microwave is all you get, and a fridge that is defective. A ripoff. There was one hotel/timeshare that we stayed at around Atlantinc and 25th street that was very nice. The only issue we had was teht there was no balcony. However, it was on the ocean side and with a spectacular view. I don't recall the name, but it was a VSA resort, for $150 a night.

Indeed it is so worthwhile to check out the room itself as you can show up and the place is a shithole and you've already paid.
Thats the truth, thats happened to me before, check tripadvisor.com for hotel and restaraunt user reviews.
