These rumours just get dumb and dumber. Vince is not going anywhere....at least not in the near future. First of, from a business standpoint you're not only trading players, you're also trading salaries...thanks in large part to the NBA salary cap restrictions. If and I say "if" anyone is gonna trade for Vince, they better be preapred to take on "most" of the huge salary($100 mil+) Vince just signed. Not too many teams can afford it unless they unload one of their top players to the Raps and correct me if I'm wrong, Darius Miles and Zydrunas Ilgauskas' salaries does not add up anywhere near $100 million. Yes, unfortunately it's all about economics.

Besides, although it would look great on Cleveland, you think they would at least wait and see if they win the lottery pick - LeBron James who is the player and prize the Cavs are really after.

Secondly Glen is smarter than to give up on a young cat like Vince so easily. Vince is still the franchise, proven star(when healthy) and a marketing machine. If Glen is patient enough to keep Lenny around, surely he has the same patience for VC.

Vince Carter is the Matt Dunigan of the NBA. It's only a matter of time before he suffers another injury. If they get a good offer from someone, they should take it.
