My mother is Japanese being a stupid teen I asked her, do you think Dad was involved with another woman overseas since he was away for a year? When I saw the pain in my mother's face I knew I could never do that to somebody else. Even though it might be acceptable by Japanese culture and some people have the same sort of attitudes Latino culture, It's about integrity and loving your spouse. If you love your spouse and you have integrity, you will not cheat or have sex with anybody else.

i worked and lived in Japan for few years and have say the culture is more reserved and hierarchical. Unlike western women, Japanese women tend to leave their jobs and become full-time housewives after they get married. Japanese girls are also very good at hiding their feelings and they tend to avoid confrontation whenever possible. Japanese men, on the other hand, are very entitled and dominate.

on the side note: seeing a escort is not considered cheating in Japan, some people go to adult establishments after a long day of work with their colleagues or bosses.
