Video hosting ?

Adele G

Hello there
I'm having a hard time finding a website to host my video, we see boobs, and I use some music protected by copyright.

I don't mind if I have to pay, I just want the video to be visible on the first click, not having to confirm your age because of censureship or not risquing the video being remove.

Vimeo, youtube and dailymotion, don't work for me, for those reason. Tiny something doesn't work either, if someone have any suggestion that be great, thank you !

Did you try just uploading it onto your google docs/drive. Then you can just share the link to your choosing to have it streamed, and problem solved. I think you can also make it public for anyone to see and its freee. Not sure if you want to complicate things further ?

There are a few issues to consider when it comes to hosting video, in addition to the issues you list.

First, what video format should be served to any particular client that clicks? When it comes to video, browser vendors have decided that having everyone support the same video coding format would be good for consumers and not as good for them. Fortunately, you can probably get by with support for two formats and almost all browsers will choose one of those two. But your infrastructure needs to be set up in support of that.

Then, you'll want to consider what video quality you want to serve - and it's great to say you want to deliver the best quality, but what about the cellphone user whose bandwidth you're eating up, or the desktop user who really wants a high quality image? And again, your infrastructure needs to deal with that.

These are issues which video hosts such as YouTube, or Vimeo take care of for us, for videos they are willing to host. If your videos don't qualify you can self-host, or look into other services (all of which will require you to certify that you're not doing anything illegal, like sharing material for which you do not hold appropriate rights) - such as Amazon CloudFront. Google "Video CDN" or "Video Content Delivery Network" for more choices to explore.

dreamhost should do the trick. unlimited b/w and storage space and a built-in web video player u can drop into any html you want. but of course very few hosts can protect u from a dmca notice should you get that popular.
