Video editing help

I'm hoping that someone knows how to help me with this problem.

I took a bunch of videos with my digital camera a few days ago. I had the camera turned to shoot "portait", but when I play the videos back they're all in "landscape", so the videos are on their side. Are there any good programs that can rotate the entire video 90 degrees, or will I have to sit my laptop on its side to watch them properly?

imovie or final cut pro could help you do this. depending on how long the vids are, you might have a lot of render time while the effect is applied to every frame.
