This is disgusting. We are in 2021 and doctors can’t get past mental illness to actually solve a physical medical problem.
And of course, the nurse who was told to get the man out, is the one fired, not the doctor who didn’t do his job.
I know someone medicated for 20 years with Bi-polar. Mature, responsible, doesn’t have their phases because they are medicate, had kids, works, lives a “normal” life. To think they couldn’t get treatment they needed because of their illness is just to disheartening.
Like what, you don’t get treatment now because you have diabetes? An illness is an illness and to make an assumption about a person without doing all you can and should do, that doctor is disgusting and I hope he/she loses their job.
