Has anyone taken two Viagras at a time? I'm talking about the big pill, the 100 mg. I'm finding it's having less effect these days. I know all about the warnings against that, and that's why I'm asking, if those are just to-be-safe warnings or complete no-goes?

You should bear in mind that it’s not really possible to develop a tolerance for Viagra. So if one pill isn’t doing the trick, there are other underlying issues that may need to be treated in order for Viagra to work more effectively. Taking two pills won’t kill you, but may not produce the desired effect.

Stay physically fit, get lots of sleep, watch your diet, control your alcohol consumption, try to avoid unnecessary stress, and avoid a heavy meal before sexual activity. All of these factors impact the effectiveness of Viagra.

Get some blood work done to see if you have low testosterone. There are supplements you can take for that. If you’re over 40, and Viagra is not working as well as you like, you may have a nitric oxide deficiency. There are pills you can take for that.

Jesus man, do NOT do that!

Yes, we can develop a tolerance to Viagra (sildenafil) .

Sildenafil is a fast acting hypotensive medication that is directed more at your dick blood supply. But it still has hypotensive effects (lowering blood pressure) overall. That's why people get headaches, blue vision and other side effects like feeling faint or light headed.

While high dosages seldom cause death, it can cause tachycardia (fast heartbeat) that can result in an unstable arrythmia that can lead to a whole slew of known, and unknown adverse effects.

If 100mg isn't getting your dick hard enough, you may well have a serious, underlying cardiovascular issue. Go have a good talk with your GP and get a full cardiac workup. It may very well turn up some latent, developing cardiovascular condition that is better, and easily, treated with medication.

Or you might be fine cardiovascularly and it's all in your head. One way to tell if it is your big head or little head is whether you get good and hard when you jerk off to your fave porn without Viagra.

My Experience

Personally, in my late 30's I started with a 1/4 pill (25mg) when I didn't even need it just to turn White Pine into White Oak lumber. 😜.

As time went on, I bumped to 1/3rd of a pill (33 mg) to get the same effect.

Now I need 1/2 pill (50mg). I say I NEED it because when I fuck with a condom (even magical Skyn Elite Large) I can't maintain good enough wood without Viagra for a good fuck and orgasm.

In real life I go bare because I'm snipped. But I still use 25mg for good measure when I have to please my partner.

When I jerk off, I don't need any medication.

So a LOT of this is an issue of sensitivity and what's in our minds.

I also find that when i am more physically active that I get much better wood and can fuck much better.

I hope the above helps.

I tried it once and did not feel well at all for the rest of the day.

Totally not recommended by most physicians as well.

If you want the maximum effect from any proper dose of Viagra take it on an empty stomach, about an hour or so before you expect to have sex, and don't eat before having sex.

Yeah the "20-30 mins before sexual activity" benchmark is definitely for an empty stomach lol.

After a nice meal it'll take an hour or two 😝

The part about being physically active is key... cardio AND weight training. Strengthening your pelvic floor will yield dividends. Do a search on YouTube re. That.

I found a nice meal anytime within 4 hours of taking a Viagra almost nullified it, of course if the meal was before the sex.

Much less so for Cialis.

Dont take 2 pills without talking to the doctor.
Viagra reduces blood pressure and has cardiac effects.
Its very dangerous to just self medicate like that.
Viagra is not sold over the counter for a reason. Take it as prescribed or else.
Another serious side effect is an erection lasting for hours and requiring emergency care.

What is this "blue vision", and what causes it? If it's what I think it means, then I might have experienced it in the past. Is it something that makes lights seem a bit blue-shifted?

I have only had this happen once, and it was after taking a 100-mg tablet (the highest strength) -- I have not experienced this on 50-mg or 25-mg doses.

Basically, your vision gets a "tint" -- for me it was more purple than blue, and it would fade in an out. To be honest, it's almost akin to the sort of visuals I've experienced on psychedelics, like LSD. It did not occur until around the time the pill's main effects were starting to wear off and it was accompanied by a headache and a sore neck. I have taken 100-mg tabs a few times, but the tinted vision only happened once.

Do not take two tablets instead; try to avoid eating, especially a heavy or fatty meal, around the time you take the blue pill. Fatty foods can significantly reduce how quickly and how well it is absorbed, which may lessen its effectiveness. For best results, take it on an empty stomach or after a very light meal, and allow adequate time for it to work as intended.

L-citrulline

L-citrulline
is a naturally occurring, non-essential amino acid found in foods like watermelon, cucumbers, and pumpkins. It is a popular dietary supplement primarily used to improve blood flow (vasodilation) and enhance athletic performance by increasing the body's production of nitric oxide.

Nitric Oxide Production: The body converts L-citrulline into L-arginine, which is then used to create nitric oxide (NO). NO is a molecule that relaxes blood vessels, leading to improved circulation and lower blood pressure. L-citrulline supplements are more effective at increasing L-arginine levels in the body than L-arginine supplements themselves, as L-citrulline bypasses metabolism in the liver and intestines.

Cardiovascular Health: Due to its blood vessel-widening properties, L-citrulline may help lower blood pressure, particularly in individuals with pre-existing hypertension or heart conditions.

Erectile Dysfunction (ED): By improving blood flow, L-citrulline may ease symptoms of mild-to-moderate ED. It is considered a safer, though less potent, alternative to prescription ED medications.

Interactions
: L-citrulline may interact with medications that lower blood pressure (antihypertensive drugs) and medications for male sexual dysfunction (PDE-5 inhibitors, like Viagra), potentially causing blood pressure to drop too low.

Some meds work different on different blokes. Try levitra or spedra or cialis instead of viagra. See how that does.
But definitely work that question through a proper doc.
