Lost in a daydream of beautiful women.
This may have been asked before, but things change all the time....

Does anyone have suggestions on the best place/way to get tickets for shows in Vegas. I'm taking a trip there in March and am looking to watch a good show. I've been to Vegas many times, but always for work and have never taken in an actual Vegas Show...not the kind of show that many go for...but a real, legitimate Vegas Show.

I have seen much of the local talent there, however, that is conversation for another thread.

If your heart is not set on a particular show, just go to one of those red Tix4Tonight kiosks all over the strip. You can buy tickets for the same day or next day, normally at 1/2 price of what the box office wants. Mystere, the original Cirque de Soleil, playing at TI, is the cheapest of the Cirques out there, and if you have never been to a Vegas show you will be duly impressed with how weird and funny it is. Anyhow, the available shows for that day scroll across TV screens at the kiosk and the staff there are extremely helpful in getting you what you want to see. Right now, Jubilee is also highly touted as is the girly show at Paris (can't remember its name but the tix are only $58 and its supposed to be one of the most clever of the legitimate girly shows). If you can't find what you want at Tix4Tonight, just go to the appropriate box office. Other guys might have advice on how to buy online, in advance. I've no idea about that though.

i just went 2nd week of jan ,

i saw 4 shows there , O , phantom ,le reve and mystere , and out of all of them i would say that you should see Le reve , is a wonderful theater and no there is no bad seats,

its a water show but 100% better then 0 for the fact that there is no bad seats , i sat somewhere in the middle and bought the tickets a day before with one of those tix4tonight places ( it was the kiosk by the fashion mall) .

got to agree with the above two posters about where to get the tickets best way to go!
as for mystere i would give that a miss,if you want to see a cirque show go see the beatles love at the mirage. Le reve is great so is jubilee and the one based on the crazy horse saloon at the mgm grand is also very good. if you want to see Cher you might have to book up that is hard to get good seats too (very popular)

This site has schedules, what's sold out and descriptions of all the shows. As well as all the other things to do in and around Vegas.
I also agree with the others about the last minute ticket places, but the more popular shows have less of a discount.

There is a giant coke bottle shop across from Caesars Palace that sells discounted show tickets.

Thanks for the info everyone. Sorry...I've been away for a couple of weeks and unable to look at the replies on this, but definitely appreciate the help. I'm not overly particular on the show, since there are so many good ones, so I will probably just try out my luck with one of those booths.
