Vacation ideas

hello all

so i posted last week about taking a vacation to Bahamas (Atlantis Cove). well, after reading what alot of you had to say "go somewhere else to get bang for your buck", my gf and i look at other Caribbean locations and cant really seem to nail it down to one.

we're look for a) good entertainment (loved what atlantis offered - minus all those ppl), but want b) nice scenic spot so looked into ST LUCIA and c) HOT HOT weather; st lucia is warmer cause its more southern. however, the only problem with st lucia (sandals resort) is that, it seems more towards "honeymooners". although we want one on one time and shit load of sex time LOL, just want something fun and exciting to do at the island.

so anyone here who has travelled "OUR TRAVEL DATES IS FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER 2010", can you tell us of any good locations or places to travel for a week? our budget is approx $7-8k.

Cabo San Lucas is alot of fun. or for 8 grand the 2 of you could do a really nice cruise and see a few places in the Caribbean... kind of a scouting mission for your next vacation.

I have been to Antigua a bunch of times and the people there are really nice... Shirley Heights on a Sunday afternoon/evening with a live reggae band going is one of my favorite places in the world.

Go to Oxygen Resort for a week and you shall be heaven on earth at their DR location, their girls are all 8,9,and even 10 grading too
good food with a private chef at your service for 24 hrs, even u can get a breakfast even at 2.00 AM if you are hungry. Try your luck bit pricely but everyone should try going once atleast in their life time.

any one been to Antigua? thinking about going to the sandals resort there.....

seems really nice and the resort is nice as well (well all sandals are)....anyone have experience or is it only good if your going on your honeymoon?....thxs everyone

Barbados is the crown jewel of the Caribbean. I have been to DR, Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, Antigua and Mexico. I have heard good things about Aruba but I think it is a little too small.

Aruba is booming. Many new resorts, casinos, etc.

Weather is dependable (hot). Beaches are great. Can't speak to the nightlife. Didn't partake.

If you want more to do, Curacao fits the bill.

How can you get a good bang for your buck, if your taking the girlfriend with you. Leave the girl friend at home and go to Havana and you will be banging day and night.
