However, the Aircraft Accident Investigation Report has determined that the USAF HH-60G Pave Hawk (CSAR) Helicopter stationed at RAF Lakenheath, which crashed in Norfolk, England in January went down due to multiple bird strikes from geese. At least three geese penetrated the cockpit rendering the pilot and co-pilot unconscious.
