Thanks to a drop from a few feet, a few keys fell off the keyboard from my Dell laptop.

I need this fixed urgently (same day).

Does anyone have a recommended place, preferably located fairly centrally in Toronto?

Thanks.

Thanks.
Unfortunately, as I have two thumbs and have just perfected how to fill my own car with gas, this is likely beyond my capability.
Nevertheless, much appreciated.

in lieu of getting a same day repair, you can use an external keyboard (USB or PS/2, depending what port you have on the laptop.) Might be a bit of a pain carrying that around tho ...... but if you use it on a desk that would be a temp solution until ya find a place to fix it

Have a credit card?, or extra cash laying around?. Buy a new one, and return it on the 13th day at Future Shop or Best buy, no questions asked.

Most likely they will need to install
a new keyboard, you may want to call
in advance and ask the repair shop if they have
the keyboard in stock.

I agree with Zed.. in my experience, most places will just replace keyboard. At Best Buy, a friend was told to buy keyboard from dell online, and they would install it. Took about 5 days in total. Don't think retail places like Best Buy like to deal with ordering special parts.

Unless its just popping the keys back on, good luck getting it fixed same day!
