I'm coming into town next week and need a new hotel. Upscale, 3-4 stars, 24 hour room service and near the College & University area. I'm not that familiar with the city but I don't seem to remember any good properties up that far.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Does it really need to be right at College & Uni? I mean, from that area, you're only a few blocks from Queen & Uni (Toronto Hilton, Sheraton Centre,) as well as Bloor/Avenue (Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, and I really like the Windsor Arms,) The Sutton Place is not too far as well, or the Metropolitan. All of those would fit what you're looking for.

In this town, especially in the city, 3-4 stars is not considered upscale. I don't know what you're really looking for so I can't offer much advice.

There are some truly upscale options around University (Queen's Park) and Bloor (not far from your target location) and the Sutton Place at Bay and Wellesley is also a fine establishment.

Be prepared to spend in excess of $200 a night if you really want upscale in the downtown area.
