They have been doing a huge street sweep in Barrie (as many as 20 females busted) and tonight I saw the massage parlour by the corner on Essa at Cumberland get busted. (it's not the red peony(sp?) it's acorss the street)

I looked in the paper to see about the street sweep the other night and there is nothing. The police are not releasing this info to the media so far. I wait to see if this massage bust shows up.

Barrie Busts

They have done a street sweep in Barrie charging clients and providers.

I hope people fight these charges because the communicating law was struck down by justice Himel so they have a good chance of winning.
I doubt anyone will fight because then their names will be out there.

The communicating law is one that was struck down by justice Himel in the Ontario superior court. I hope they fight these charges as they have a good chance of winning. I'm surprised police are charging in light of the fact that the appeal court hasn't yet ruled and may well agree that this is NOT illegal.

Wow!!

A one month long police undercover effort netted all of 9 alleged street walkers and 10 alleged Johns.

And, except for one lady with a cocaine charge, they are all accused of crimes which have been struck down by the courts.

What a phenomenal waste of taxpayer money.

I wish the Barrie cops would just get back to what they do best,

Falling out of the police boats and causing $50k of damage
Driving while impaired
Crashing police cruisers
Collecting paychecks while suspended for the above
