Do you know any good stores that sell unlocked cell phones in Toronto?

Not sure if this is too far north for you, but try www.bongowireless.com. I have purchased a few phones from them...never had a problem. I believe they are still on HWY 7 east of the 404

Unlocked phones are actually quite useful if you travel a lot. With an unlocked phone you can travel to say Europe, buy a SIM card there and use your own phone. Just forward calls from your number to your new local number and you're all set - no roaming fees just whatever the local rate it.

go to pacific mall lots of unlocked phones brand new or used. and if you pay cash you can negotiate the price.i always go there to buy a phone.

I would think it would give you the option to use any cell phone model on a certain network. Not just the phones that carrier offers.
