Labour is almost a certainty to win a majority government because the Rishi Sunak led Conservatives are appalling. So much so Nigel Farage's Reform UK party has tripled their poll numbers since the start of the campaign and may form the official opposition. Shades of Canada's 1993 federal election.

Sunak is actually relatively inoffensive, although not very capable or inspiring. But he inherits a decade+ of sheer, boggling incompetence by Truss and Bojo and the Brexit disaster.

Starmer and Farage are squeezing the Tories from both sides to eliminate them. Reform is expected to get a boost in the popular vote, but only a half-dozen seats btw. Farage is basically ass-fucking any chance the Tories have in order to boost his own image (and fellate more $$$ from Putin, who owns his sketchy, sleazebag ass).
