Just some interesting facts........

1) Gerald Harris was released by UFC today after in Dana White's words, "he ran like a scared turkey on Thanksgiving"
2) Jose Aldo is OUT of his UFC 125 title defence due to a back injury - no word yet on what happens to the new featherweight title
3) 1st rd of Falcao/Harris ended 7 seconds early - investigation is underway as Falcao was choking out Harris at the time
4) poll by UFC recently asked who will win UFC 124 GSP or Koshcheck and it came back 87% GSP, 9% Koshcheck, +/- 4%
5) Shogun vs Evans signed for March 2011

I was wondering about the Falcao/Harris fight...I could have sworn I saw 14 seconds left in the fight and it seemed like only a couple of seconds passed and then the bell sounded...
The timer dissappeared after the 14 second make so it was hard to judge how much time passed...

I wouldn't be surprised if the Shogun vs Evans fight is gonna be in Toronto...

Unfortunately, that fight seems to have been confirmed by multiple sources as being the main event for the UFC's second trip to Abu Dhabi in March. But if Toronto gets an April date, there are plenty of fights to be made. The WW title is being fought for in early December and the LW title on the first day in January. I don't know what's going to happen with the FW title now that Aldo's back is crocked. But if they do an interim, that's three titles with a 3-4 month layoff that they can put up for grabs come April. So the UFC will pick 2 out of the 3 titles for the main and co-main + two solid matchups for the PPV card, et voila, the Rogers Centre can play host to 70,000+ fight fans. I think it'll be missed opportunity if they settle for only 22,000 seats at the ACC.

I watched the fight but I didn't see Gerald run?
His style is odd/yawnfest as you Lyoto fans calls "elusive" but I wud'nt say he runs. IMO Falcao cud'ov finished him off whenever he wanted to but he played it REALLY safe which was kinda boring.
Funny thing is Harris fights like that in every fight so it was Dana's fault to think he's gunna change his style and take more risks. The matchmakers dropped the ball on that one imo.

I'm very interested in the Shogun vs. Evans, it's an excellent style match up. I don't like Evans but I see him healthier, quicker and stronger for Shogun's return.

Fantastic numbers - it's like his mom thinks he will win and that's it.
I'm not a GSP fan but I just dont see how Kos will do any better then when they met a few years ago. GSP 101% dominated him in every area including the wrestlin game that Kos always braggs about. Yea he's a bit better in his stand up skillz but GSP is still better then him at that (if he actually throws and not plays safe). I hope GSP doesnt jus lay on Kos for 5 rds.

John_E_Depth corner man:If I was training GSP for this fight I would fine tune his boxing/leg kicks and have him KO Kos (I mean a bruuutal KTFO type KO). Now this would send a SERIOUS message to the divison that now you have to watch out for GSP's hands cus it cud be lights out for you........ Whew! Okay guys I just stopped smokin the hydro so I wasnt in my right frame of mind when I wrote that GSP might KO anybody..... Reality:He'll jus take Kos down without taking any risk of getting hit and lay on Kos for the fight. Fans who have no clue about mma will cheer and say GSP's the best. Dana will be happy
