From my understanding, the ruling did not change the rights of or existence of Trans people, regarding their equality compared to others.

With most laws, language is very important, and as time advances, labels that were attached have to be clarified and or modified.

Example, Pluto a planet or not, or when new variations of species are confirmed.

The ruling still recognizes Trans’ rights, and clarified the “label” of woman due to conflicts that arise in certain legal contexts because of it’s original “meaning”.

As folks who are familiar with the language in the courts and legal system, laws and languages are continuously being revised based on context and new information to adapt to changes in our various societies.

It just means, they won't be recognized as women but as "trans-woman". there is a difference. there will no longer be a "i'm offended because yo mis gendered me" claim...

Crazy that this has to go to the Supreme Court at all. But a step in the right direction.

On a related topic.

I call them by their name and preferred pronoun.
I work with trans people fairly regularly and would happily defend them from asswipes attacking them.
Calling them Trans women are not an attack...calling them women is giving them false hopes.. you're hurting them, not helping them.

You refer to them as a man or a woman, respecting how they identify themselves. Most know from a very young age that their developing body does not match their true gender.

In the womb, we are all female. I once led a workshop at a swing convention where I was a speaker getting folks to get naked and discussing this long ago I suggested men or their partners look at the back of their penis. See that line. That would be their vaginal opening if they developed female.

This was also back in the days when we did lab chem testing of female ejaculation, which proved it was not pee.

In my view, the term woke is simply a jerk with a silly political view vs facts and the law. It seems those that us it are about "alternative facts" i.e. lies.they make up but if you say something enough times with millions of followers it seems to be true. Especially if your goal is that of a dictator.

I'm sure you'r the type of friend who goes up to a colleague and says 'you know, you're fat and ugly' as something you think is helpful.
you really make me wander if you twist what people say on purpose or do you really have no clue?

I would never tell anybody that they are "fat and ugly", only liberals stoop that low

but if my male friend put on a dress and pretended to be a woman

I would definitely say something

No, you're an asshole if you can't manage decency.
It costs you nothing to use pronouns and treat trans people ok.

The trans I work with have to deal with assholes all the time, quite often they are dangerous.
Bullshit...whatbyoure doing is dangerous to the trans community. Listen to yourself... you still call them Trans behind their backs. Lol.
