Two Exciting CFL Games Tonight

G

GlavaMan

Just finished watching the end of the Edm-Wpg game with an unbelievable last play 100 yard to Milt Stegal to win the game. Stegal finishes with 253 yards receiving. This game was slow to start but what a finish with Edm taking the lead in the last minute after Wpg fumbled while trying to run out the clock. The Mtl-Ham game was also fun to watch with the Als winning 41-38. Some tough luck for the Ti-cats. Mtl looks good at 5-0.

Yes, I saw the Montreal-Hamilton game and it was a good one. Three interceptions, a blocked punt, and a faked punt which lead to a Montreal touchdown. This game was also decided on the last play of the game, with Montreal kicking a field goal. I think the Alouettes are lucky to be 5-0. They are not playing to their potential yet, at least on offense. Calvillo seems to spend the first half probing the other team's defense, then picks it apart in the second half by calling audibles at the line of scrimage. It makes for an exciting game (if you are an Alouette fan).

It's hard to tell. Because of the ridiculous schedule this year, the season is almost 1/3 over and the Als have only faced two clubs, Hamilton and Winnipeg. Even both pre-season matches were against Winnipeg.

Yes I agree. What a ridiculous schedule. I guess it has something to do with Ottawa folding, but I don't really understand.
