Global is doing a report on prostitution and whether brothels are coming
So what if brothels are coming. It is just consenting adults engaging in sex. It's not like gambling or the air show/auto racing is coming with its noise
and pollution. BTW The gays are coming, the gays are coming as well. That means gay sex is coming too.

As long as they are properly zoned, I don't see any problem with them.

Seems to work in Nevada, albeit the pricing sucks there.

Not in residential areas, and only in heavily industrial, commercial areas, where there are not likely to be children or innocent women walking around.

If the law leaves them alone, they should have heavy security, and the cops should patrol there regularly. This should protect against real crimes like robbery and drugs.

We have brothels already.
Sorry, I misquoted the promo for the show. It is investigating whether brothels "will soon be coming to a street near you?"

Personally, I would like it if the answer is yes ... but I don't have that kind of luck.

What's a brothel? Is that some sort of club or something?
You can decide which option works best for you:
  • whorehouse: a building where prostitutes are available.
  • The Brothel is a 2008 film written and directed by Amy Waddell.
  • A brothel, also known as a bordello, cathouse, whorehouse, sporting house and various other euphemisms, is an establishment specifically dedicated to prostitution, providing the prostitutes a place to meet and to have sexual intercourse with clients.
  • A house of prostitution
  • Any disreputable or messy room or place.

This is what we should do with "The Entertainment District". Maybe move the whole lot to the Toronto Islands next to the squatters.

It's more about the ripple effect of this activity. This delves into the role of organized crime and human trafficking. Two consenting adults = no big deal. One horny adult + one involuntary slave = a big deal.

I'd like to see them allowed in residential areas, but limited in size.
Let them work out of their homes, bring in a partner or two as well.
When noise is a factor, that's where clients are always the problem and can be dealt with.

Heh heh! Thanks Calloway, I was actually just kidding. It's just funny that 16X9 would do a stupid story like this, as if brothels don't or haven't existed before. That show has the stupidest pieces and its so amateur.

I love how they "ask" normal teenagers about their experiences, when it obviously just the producers nieces or nephews they threw into the show.

Instead of brothels, they should have Amsterdam style windows where the girl rents the room and works independently. No pimps or managers.

Too bad the industry missed out on the economic stimulus package! I am sure the payback would be more secure than the automotive sector.

Since none of them cut their prices, they obviously don't need any "stimulation"

I don't think any business involving a high traffic of strangers coming and going should be allowed to operate in a residential area.

This goes for grandma's yard sale too. Take it to a flea market.
