In my opinion, this is why they're letting people get away with all kinds of crazy stuff, car theft, murder, rape, whatever, then eventually the Big Brother will say "you guys obviously can't behave, so time to crack down, create some rules, put out more police/military" whatever and that's exactly what Trump is doing.
None of this made sense for the past few years, but analyzing the shit out of it and thinking about why any government would allow this to happen, now it's coming to fruition.
Even "PeePee" has mentioned he's worried about attacks on political figures, he's planted the seed with that (from the right) and no doubt Carney will at some point pick up on that and do his thing, or the Premieres will.
