Do not underestimate the stupidity of the American people.
It's kind of interesting to hear this from someone who lives in a country that is stagnating and likely thinks doing more of the same is the solution. Americans are instinctively restless politically and it has served them well..

I should have specified that I include Canada in 'American'. We are after all part of the continent.

Where we can argue is that maybe it would be a good thing to get Trump elected as then it may very well be the last election the US has to go through ;) Could be easier the Putin's way and simply eliminate all opposition by force.

Its a battle between 80 year olds, one corrupt and going rapidly senile and the other one who turned the entire world against the US.
Talk about stagnation.

Yeah, I agree. What troubles me the most is it's not a battle of policy or ideas. It's a battle between 2 old farts. Bidden at least respects that he is part of a team. He knows he can't win all battles. In a regular business, the main leader can decide that he's not going by consensus (that is why Steve Jobs said business people should never do politics).

Anyway, the world is going right. To many immigrants everywhere that no country can assimilate properly. And countries that have 10 million empty homes, like Japan, are pretty much closed to immigration.

What would be needed to help the poor in America (including canada ;) ) and the middle class would no longer be accepted. We must follow what the elite billionaires tell us to do. They need after all a bigger yacht, a private island, and/or a huge bunker to hide themselves for when the basic people will have had enough of them.

It really feels like end state capitalism, where everyone needs a side hustle because full time work doesn't pay a living wage and the gig economy just puts downward pressure on all wages. The western worlds are suffering because nobody can afford to have kids anymore so immigration has to fill that spot up with the bonus getting people work at timmies for less.

We should just declare being a billionaire means you won capitalism and everything above that goes back to the state.

A big millionaire investor once told me 'I do not give a shit if you know all the details about finance and investing. Tell me who do you know and I will tell you if we have a future cooperating together.'

We were on a golf course for a corporation tournament. I did not say anything. Hit a 250-yard drive down the middle. Then said to him 'I know no one'.

Never heard from him again.

For billionnaire/millionnaire we regular folks are just t-shirts to them. They don't give a shit. Only when their life will be in danger because there is too much poor that they will begin to cry.

Never underestimate the stupidity of North American people.
That is why I would not rule out the possibility of a Trudeau win in
2025. Idiocy of people north of the border is second only to their
southern neighbors.

Yeah, electing a senile, spray-tanned, career fraudster is definitely the move to get America going again!

Wise choice!

Maybe they should elect a convicted sheep-fucker in 2028 and a fentanyl suppository dealer in 2032. And eventually a multi offence car thief like Boebert's kid. Gotta do that "instinctively restless politically and it has served them well" thang, right?
