This is all nonsense. Japan is one of the largest investors in LNG Canada, the first of 2 phases comes online this summer. The Japanese have the option to take a stake, probably as large a stake as they want in phase 2. As you can see Japan is closer to Japan then Alaska. As for Germany, that was not a feasble deal. Gas to Germany would have to load in the east coast, So it would need to be piped from the West to the East and this would cost about 25-30B. Germany was not willing to commit to a long term deal as they believe they will only need gas for 10 years for their green transition. So look at logistics before you believe that Con bullshit.
