Well I can assure you there have been kids in the cockpit before and since. and it has not happened again so far. Also how many crashes have happened by adults fucking up. FARRR more. lol
Well they aren't kids either. They are led by a genius/lunatic who has built 2 mindblowing companies and accomplished the major restructuring of a 3rd that he bought. He is not normal, and probably an asshole. But there you have it.

I will give you that Elon is a good engineering manager, which is a creature not known in mainstream US corporations, but he has built his fortune out of handouts from the governments.
It is somewhat ironic that he has received $1T in corporate welfare, and now is so dismantling welfare to others.
Its not 1T for sure its billions, but mostly for perfroming services or delivering goods. Contrast Starship with Artamis. Starship - about 96m per copy reusable Artamis 2.5B 1 time use. Starship has a higher payload as well. You can't fault him for receiving $$ for launch services. especially since he is the lowest cost provider. He also risked a lot of his own money. ..oh yeah he also started Starlink which is worth about 35-60B alone. He is a good enginnering manager, understands finance, marketing, hype etc. He is a genius. WIth all the good, bad and ugly that comes with it.
