summit to remind NATO members climate change is one
of the defining security issues of our time.

I've head these responses before. The Ukraine and Climate Change rebuttals are just typically an excuse for not meeting the 2% spending on your own military commitment. A military commitment is boots, planes, ships and capabilities specific to that country.

If one does consider Climate Change a security issue than one would be best to prepare yourself defensively for the inevitable wars that will be the natural outcome. As water gets scarce, remind me again who has the largest reserves of water?

These are issues of concern to NATO members at the summit:

i) Defense strength of European nations and Canada in light of
possible return of Trump.

ii) Ukraine's NATO membership.

iii) Members not meeting guideline of defense spending like Canada.

iv) China's influence on Russia.

v) More effective strategy of sanctioning Russia.

If climate change is truly a security issue as serious as
the Ukraine war it would have been better addressed by
someone other than the jet-setting climate hypocrite from
Canada.

For number one, we can reach a trade deal. Around 2005, they wanted our oil. Likely in 2035, they'll want our water. We need to be Norwegian about it.

For number two, that is why we have a military. Realpolitik. Not NDP dick sucking. Most crop failures are due to the government system they chose. Politics. Not climate change.
