Some people just shouldn't have drivers licenses.
I drive a Subaru Outback which is a top rated safety pick but looking at that picture I don't know how well I would do if T-boned by a rig like that. Scary out there. Small cars are sitting ducks in pile ups. A guy around here had a smart car with a personalized plate that said Splat.

Heck I won't even feel safe with a v8 truck in that situation...

Car drivers are probably annoying af for truckers, I can see some losing their patience. Especially if they've had some sugar.

This has happened before, the truck driver said also that he didn't see the car. People were waving him down.

I don’t buy that. Not with the noise it was making. There is no way.

Maybe the other time because I remember that, but not this time.

I really don't understand how the truck driver didn't know the car was their.
You can't use the excuse "I didn't see it". How could you not notice any resistance pushing against the truck? Yes, it's a big truck, but come on.

From what my contracting buddies say, the white powder is flying like snow with the drivers. They are making big bucks apparently. I too have noticed very aggressive
driving by dump trucks and big rigs on the rise.
I'm a commercial driver (motorcoach) and I notice that the dump truck drivers are by far the most aggressive of all the commercial vehicles on the road. I suspect this is largely in part by being paid by the load. I can't tell you the number of times that a dump truck has cut me off in my motorcoach.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I’m glad I am not the only one who thinks this. I have had multiple encounters with dump truck drivers. I even went has far as sending dash cam video to a company of their driver running a red light and almost hitting me.

I see lots of dump trucks on the way to my trailer and I hate it.

Do you guys really think that truck driver woke up that morning and decided to push a car for half a mile??
He couldnt see the car in front of him because line of sight (or lack there of).
And I'm not saying he shouldnt get a ticket for it, I'm saying it was unintentional on his part

First , don’t use the R word. Find another word to use

Second, how could be not hear the honking of the woman in the car, the burning of the tires on the road, the screeching of the car grinding against the concrete barrier???

Bullshit he didn’t know the car was there. There is not even any mention by the driver or the police that he couldn’t see the car. Unlike the last time where it was presented as a reason.

He knew this car was there and he was too pissed off to give a shit at the moment.

You mad?? 😂

I didnt mention you by name, so please take a chill pill

If you had bothered to read the article there was mention of that

the driver apparently not realizing that he was pushing a small vehicle sideways in front of him
The driver of the truck was also shaken once he stopped and realized what had happened

People just don’t respect the space around trucks....she said that she was merging and the truck clipped her rear end, sounds to me she cut in front of him

Not mad - pointing out the offensive term. It has been deemed offensive for years now. Clearly you have no respect, and instead of just apologizing, you have to come guns blazin’. Makes me wonder if you are mad.

and as for article, I apologize - I didn’t not read that part. That was my bad. My opinion still stands because of the noise but difference of opinion is fine.

But see how easy apologizing is? It is really not that hard. Why can’t you do it?
