having just bought a new pickup truck, I wonder if anyone has used the spray on or
roll on tyruck bed liners available now instead of the old fashioned liners?

bored and sleepless again
I tore the carpet outta my Jeep and sprayed in POR-15. Pretty similiar product. Stuff cost me about 320 ish.
Asked a guy about spraying a rhino liner into it told me about 500.
I was pretty happy with the end result.

I've heard amazing things about Rhino....the big selling point is that it is actually non slip..unlike the PVC bedliners that advertise "non slip" yet are slipperier than wet goose shit...

BTW: what truck did you buy? I just bought an F150.....

I am almost embarassed to tell that I bought a Ranger. I
really do not need a pickup, but it is so handy to have a little thing like that.
Amazing price though, $12,000 for a supercab sport.

I bought a five year old truck about three years ago and immediately got the bed done with Line-X.

I'm very happy with it.

The guy that did it has a shop just north of Kingston and he did a very careful job.

My truck cam standard with the bed liner already included. It's a standard feature. :D

It also has a few other unique features...

Aside from the standard opening for the back gate, it also opens this way:

AND has a very handy "truck" space:

I have friends with the spray on. No complaints.

Yeah and throw some bread into the back of your truck and the geese install it for free!

No reason to be embarrased about a ranger, they're good little trucks. I had one for years until I needed more space.

Only think is: I hope you got 4 wheel drive. If not they are USELESS in any snow. All you need is 4 sq inches under your back wheels and you won't be going anywhere. (I figured out that it is good to back up to a snowbank and fill the bed with snow to aid in traction lol). The hard icy chunky stuff is the best......

Funny you say that. In 1994 I was shopping for a ranger and someone had won a 2300 in a contest and was selling it. I went to look at it but they wanted too much money for it so I bought a used one instead.

Right now the deals at Ford are amazing. The Mazda is $25K, Ranger $14 exact same vehicle.

Really Retired.....REALLY!
I had the interior of my jeep doen with Line-x too.
You really cannot beat it, it does cost a few bux but honestly I would pay it all over again.
And they give you a lifetime warranty too.

Way better than anything you can self apply from crappy or wherever.

Haha very funny!
I meant the interior like the floor and sides of the tub :p

The seats, carpet, etc were not in the vehicle at the time of spraying!!!!
I actually just leave it without carpet now,,,,, in the Jeep, I still have a 'runner" on my bits before you say anything about that one!
