Microsoft security essentials caught this nasty little critter this morning when I was doing a recovery on my C drive.I use Recuva because it's free . Is it possible it had anything to do with this, or did it just pop up when i recovered a file that it had attached to?What are some good"for sale" file recovery options? I use CCcleaner which seems to work pretty well also but again.....it's free...anyone had any issues with the free version or could suggest a good"for sale" version?Thanks

Recuva = is fine.

Chances are it (virus) attached itself to a file you executed after recovery or a program for that matter.
