Hi Everyone

Have a week off in may, and am considering flying to either Rio or Caracas
with the intention of seeing a few girls while out there. I was wondering if any of you could give me any information on the following?

1) Which would be more fun?
2) Where to stay and costs?
3) Where to meet the girls and costs?
4) What services to expect from the girls?

anything else you all think is relevant!

For either of those 2 cities, I'd recommend bringing a body guard. Buenos Aires might be a tad safer.

Caracas is kind of %$%^ up right now thanks to the new "dictator" Chavez. Argentina is also good but takes more local knowledge. Stick with Rio you can't go wrong, just keep your head up (the big one), crime is getting bad, but you will not need a bodyguard..

Try apartments.

It's usually half the price and you get the added value of freedom to come and go as you pleased with as many girls as you like. All you have to do is google 'Apartments Rio de Janeiro' and many sites will come up. The other way is to book one night in a hotel, then cruise Avenida Atlantica mid-day and you'll run into a tout. Never been ripped off from them and never heard of anyone that did.

Another great place is Help; a disco which has about a 3 to 1 ratio in working girls to guys, and about 500 people on the weekends (300 other nights). Then there's Villa Mossa (or something like that) which is $2O a pop, but thats for the real adventurous.

Balcony Bar is a neat beach bar that livens up with working girls at night. Finally, you can meet someone for the 'fun' just about anywhere, but you do need to speak some portuguese. Do yourself a favour and start practicing. The girls open up much more if you do. They are stunningly attractive, and the horniest women in the world...by far.

You do need to take some precautions. After almost 12 times down there myself, I never had anything happen...but I could never guarantee it won't. Just do some research on the 'International Sex Guide'. Join up. It's free.

I've been to Rio several times of late... last was in Nov '06. I always stay in one of the condo hotels on Ipanema Beach... no issue about bringing girls back. Ipanema is MUCH safer than the Copa area... altho a little more expensive. Reminds me of Cannes... hip boutiques and restos still seving dinner at 11PM. I'm not sure if Hugo and his posse are that adept at telling apart Canadian and U.S. nationals. Therefore I think that choice is pretty clear - Brazil.

I agree with others. I have been to all three and Rio is best. Take an apartment then you can go to Help disco for take out. Go to the Termas downtown during the week - they open at about 3 pm. Great mileage - ask for completa if you want greek. A few days study of Portuguese will get you a long way.

Argentina is good too again an apartment or arpart hotel is best - or go on ISG and connect with Jackson.

A bunch of guys have an old mansion - you can rent a room and share the common spaces. It is like a frat house.

I just got back from Iguacu Falls which is on the southern border of Brazil and the northern border of Argentina and close to the border of Paraguay.

I was there to visit the Falls which is definitely a wonder of the world.

To my delight I was told by my guide that prostitution was legal in brothels only but not on the street.

Cantaurus, great choice. Not the cheapest but it's right in Arpoador and close to reach. I stayed a couple streets ( the streets in the area are fairly dinky small, mind you , so don't be put off by the map ) from it last November and must add that Arpoador is fairly safe even at night, and cheaper than Ipanema but right next to it.

No doubt Rio is a violent city, most residential buildings are heavily gated, as you will see, and restaurants have guards out front during biz hours. Use your common sense , dress down and don't show your bling, Rio can be a very fun place, local concierge have always been helpful in my case. Taxi at night, say if you want to check out Help in Copa...

Uhm wait a second now, Cartagena is reasonably safe yes but thats only if you stay in the tourist areas. You do NOT wanna venture out into the outskirts or rural areas, kidnappings are all the rage and not just tourists but the vast majority are local people that get held for ransom.

Rio's your best pick. If you've got a descent look, charm, etc. you'll never have to dig in your pockets for ca$h. Brazilian girls are insanely horny. Stick with the hot spots, board-walk, beaches, discos etc. and you should not only get lucky, but have the time of your life.
