Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname, is off the beaten track but worth a visit if one is in the area (just above Brazil and sandwiched between the Guyanas). There aren't any tourist attractions, which itself makes the place interesting.
Two types of action abound:
The Diamond club is something of a brothel, staffed by pros. One sits around having a beer while checking out the girls. The action really picks up at about 9 - flocks of girls arrived - notable was a bunch of stunning Brazilian chicks and another bunch from the Dominican Republic. Price is 40 USD for a quickie there or 100 USD for the night. They will of course try to get more but hold steady - it is a buyer's market and it's either you, with expectations of further rewards, or a local. The Brazilians are more towards GFE in comparison to the Dominicans. Some local girls also worked the club.
The second category is more like "semi pro" and these are local girls. They can be found all over the Point (nightlife district). Price as above, don't pay more than 100 for a night. The girls parade around and will make it obvious that fun can be had - while having a beer at the hotel, four hotties looked around, saw me, walked just in front, each one turning to show off her butt and giving a knowing wink. Too bad I was about to pass out at that time ...
Local girls are black, E. Indian or Javanese.
The place to stay is the Torarica, rate is 60 USD and the Diamond a short cab ride away.
