Thanks to all the info on the International Sex Guide board, I had my first trip to TJ and it was a success. I stayed at the Travelodge near the border and it was darn good - $25 per night and the rooms were quite decent. Even used their pool. I observed the traffic to the border during my check in day (didn't have time to go over) and noticed lots of pedestrian traffic both ways so I made the decision that check out day, I was going to walk over too.
After checking out of the hotel, I parked at the $5 lot behind Jack in the Box on the US entry side. Walked over the pedestrian overpass as there were quite a few people already - mostly locals. Walked through the turnstiles and took the right side exit since it was the one towards the pedestrian bridge across the TJ 'river'. As soon as I went through the second turnstile, I turned left towards the McDonalds and there was the open space market area. The pedestrian bridge was at the end of the market.
No problem on the bridge as there was enough people on that too including a few cops. Once over, aimed towards the big arch landmark. Went through that as according to the maps on Arc 123 and Constitution was just two short blocks further along. Then I saw the first SWs and headed north. This was about 1 pm yesterday.
Walked through both sides of Constitution to the corner of Cohilla (spelling is wrong) where Chicago Club and Adelitas Bar were. Went past Hong Kong club and around the block to check out the alley which is not that long.
As expected, many of the SWs were fat pigs in my opinion but there were several hotties I would have done but since this was my first trip, I thought that I should stick to a bar girl from Adelitas as many before me have suggested.
Went into the Adelitas, walked around and there were certainly quite a few girls there. Just several guys. Most girls as reported just stayed where they were. After I sat down, one named Angelique came by. She was great looking as about a good third of the girls there were too. But for some reason, the name was somewhat familiar as I'm sure that I read about her somewhere on this board that she was one of those to be avoided. So I politely told her I was not interested.
Another girl came by later named Ivy. She spoke pretty decent English too and after some chit chat, she asked if I wanted to buy her a drink. I said let's go up to the hotel instead. After confirming the $60 rate and $12 for the hotel, we went up.
The room was okay with a shower and washroom. Since this was my first trip there and I was a bit anxious due to all the past danger reports, I didn't initially get hard right away. She stroked me some and then after I got semi hard, she put on a condom and said that she will do a BJ for a bit but for some reason, also mentioned that she doesn't normally do this (of course I wasn't really going to believe that).

I walked back towards the arch and the school girl uniform SWs were now out on the corner too. Like I said, there were several SWs I think I would have done but it probably wasn't a good idea for the first trip. Too bad I don't get down here more often.
On my way back, I tried out one of the taco stands. $1 for a big beef taco - it was great. Then crossed the pedestrian bridge again and once back at the McDonalds market area, I just followed the blue signs back to the USA.
There were lots of people lined up at the USA border. I don't know why there is so much crossings as I estimate that the large majority of pedestrians crossing back and forth were Mexicans or Mexican Americans -- maybe somebody can shine a light on this one?
After the border stop, I was back where the trolleys were. Headed back to the $5 parking lot where my rental car was. Total duration of trip was about only 2 to 2.5 hours.
Armed with all the info on the International Sex Guide board as well as a few other websites on TJ, this excursion was easy as hell. I never felt in danger at all. Of course, I probably would take the cabs if it was a night trip but during the daytime, there definitely is a lot of pedestrian traffic to make it completely walkable.
Ivy from the Adelitas Bar has dark hair, not too chubby at all, a bit of a spinner once she's off her high heels and a nice rack. She also has a relatively high pitched voice I didn't really like but so what, she spoke decent English and was nice to talk to. She said she was 25.
