ISO a transparency maker. This device has been obsolete for about 15 yrs or so. It is (was) used to make overhead copies in the schools way back. Manufactured by 3M amongst others, can't seem to find any. Help, please?
FWIW, 81/2X11 printable and xeroxable acetate can be bought at business and art supply stores, often by the sheet as well as in packages. They'll certainly give you a functional transparency, and they'll take Sharpies and the like too.

I expect that 15 years the maker became obsolete about a day after it was purchased!
While most overhead presentations are done via PC with Power Point these days you can still buy the transparency paper at any business store, ie: Staples. There are two ways to create the transparancy at that point;
1. Find a printer that will accept transparency paper. Most printers today should accept transparencies but you may need to check whether or not the printer in question has cailper (thickness) restrictions. Odds are though that it should work.
2. If you are having trouble with the printer then any B&W or Colour copier can make a transparency copy of a printed page.
Thanks for the input folks!, but I need the MACHINE as opposed to the paper etc...
This printer uses heat to transfer the image. AKA Therma-Fax Copier. Note, it is NOT a fax machine. Thanks again.
You can actually buy the acetate paper that is PC printer friendly, so now you can type in word, and print onto the transparency with your printer...but you have to get the type that says "inkjet capable"
