OK
After this week, I realized It's been all play and no fun this summer.
Today, after sleeping in wayi too late, I took my 9 year old son up to Muskoka for the day.
What a perfect day it was just the two of us.... lots of boats, skiing, etc.
On the way home, we went to fav spot to eat, Hooters of Barrie.
We agreed not to tell the rest of the family...we would tell them we went to Wendy's.
This I believe is excellent training for the youngster for future days as a adult.
He came up with a good one. It was dark when we stopped, and we had the dog in the car... he felt tying up the dog outside would attract potential "dates" at Hooters.
Anyway, got to admit I used the little guy, he attracted plenty of Hooters girls telling us how sweet he was.
I Don't feel guilty taking advantage of him - he himself was willing to "use" the dog.
Nice to get a weekend without any freaking rain too.
We're now feverishly planning our next outing...may be Wasage Beach!
