Anyone used to watch the Tracey Ullman Show? Great sketch comedy. Wish it would be shown in reruns.

Her best character was Francesca. If it wasn't for this show, there would be no "Simpsons"

Ullman also had a hit song:

This was a great show that will probably never be released on home video, for a few reasons:

1) Legal problems involving rights to the Simpsons shorts.

2) Every episode had a musical sketch, and home video licensing would have to be obtained for each song, individually.

3) Millenials tend not to buy home video, they'd rather subscribe to Netflix or similar services. A DVD or Blu Ray collection also takes up a lot of space

I found her hard work and unlikeable. Very clever probably, but she also thought she was very clever. I kind of got the vibe from her that she was annoyed that people didn't "get" her. The first sketch wasn't exactly a knee slapper. didn't bother watching the other clips for reasons noted above.

Item.2 is the reason why WKRP in Cincinnati has never been released on home video.

She's actually a much better actor than she is a comic. She tends to immerse herself in roles, you don't know who you're watching.

Cate Blanchett is hard to miss but I was saying, "who the fuck is that".

I liked the show a lot but then I like that style of humour. It isn't everyone's cup of tea.
