Toronto Honda Indy Going to Markham for atleast 5 years

Sad. Was very cool to have this race down on lakeshore blvd. Could hear the noise of the engines all the way up to college st and beyond. I’m sure it was massively disruptive, but very cool to have Indy cars racing downtown by the lake.
I would not be surprised if this is the start of a ( secret) master plan to sell off and develop the CNE grounds like Ontario place. Hotels, Condos, Big Casino ….
Maybe next they’ll move the EX to the Markham fair grounds.

I'm glad I got to experience it all as a kid, teenager and twenties with all the venues they had. Ontario Place was amazing for what it offered, The Forum for concerts was great with its spinning stage, sitting on the grass with that view.
The Cinesphere was amazing for movies, saw Top Gun there countless times with the same grade school hottie every year. lol
