I've noticed that a lot of the behaviour on this board tends to discourage people from posting, let alone posting a review. Admittedly, I may be guilty of some of it myself, although I try to be reasonable. To make my point I've compiled the following list. Feel free to suggest improvements.

8. NO, STAY AWAY, she's an alcoholic crack hoe.

Yeah it's pretty weird. Some people apparently believe that the whole point of having this board is to provide a springboard to leap down somebody's throat.

Considering the size of the board, I think it's remarkably civilized. There are a few incidents and arguments, but overall we seem to know we're together in a semi-underground lifestyle we can't always share with our families and friends and so we tend to treat each other with respect. We share a lot of common goals.
I'd like to acknowledge this and hope others realize the valuable resource that has been created.

Ya - this is indeed an outlet for an otherwise deep, dark, disturbing secret.
But, what I'd like to know is - how the frig can Svend join in Feb 2005 and have 1,068+ posts. I'm mean like, holy cow - does this guy not have a wife (or two) watching over every move and phone call??!!
If all those posts are reviews, I really gotta hand it to ya bud (stud). Let me know your secret cuz I really need to get out more and make some quality contacts.

While I agree with the sentiment of your remarks, I was thinking of the Ottawa forum in particular (I've noticed the majority of your recent posts are elsewhere). I believe that given how few people frequently post in the Ottawa forum there could be a lot less squabbling.

Jabba, you just having to be willing to comment on anything and everything! It also helps to conserve creative energies by keeping posts short.

And getting into a flame war once in a while jump the count surprisingly quick.
