Can anyone recommend reputable dry cleaners downtown that know how to safely press/steam (not dry clean) men's suits?

The last suit I had 'pressed' came back with the telltale sheen of hot ironing.

I used The Preeners at Queens Quay and York a few years ago and they did a good job. At least they did not ruin my suit and it felt and looked clean.

Careful on DuPont St has never disappointed me.

Check out Parker's Dry Cleaners. They have several locations, and you have the option of using Silicone, Wet, CO2 or the traditional Perc dry cleaning. They are the only ones in Canada that offer CO2 dry cleaning.

I would highly recommend the Solvair CO2 cleaning process as it uses no heat. Look up Solvair on YouTube to see how CO2 dry cleaning works.

Traditional Perc is not good for the environment, and also not good for you. Even at what is considered low doses, your clothes still have that chemical smell. You breathe and sit on that all day.

Creed's on Dupont is the best in the city as far as I know. That is who my bespoke tailor recommends.

You will pay an arm and a leg, but you can safely bring high quality garments there.
