The Russians, and now the Iranians and Chinese, are playing in this sandbox. Tearing apart democracies is their main mission. Lots of papers on this. Problem the "hate the libs" crowd has been softened up so much since the 1990s w Limbaugh et al that they're ripe for this disinformation. Kill people over wearing a mask? Kill people over minor tax raises for the rich? Kill people for discussing critical race theory? Kill people for universal health insurance? Who thinks like that? And who is encouraging the rush to arms?
