Tongue in cheek perhaps, but serious answer: done some brief research yes indeed, this is the min calibre for Africa (not for elephant or rhino, but I wouldnt shoot them anyway). Might go some day. Still a great rifle for moose, elk, caribou, and I expect to be shooting in Nfld this fall.
