Found this in AskMen.com: For over 20 years, CBC broadcaster Don Cherry has held the hockey world under his spell with colourful and opinionated commentary during the seven-minute segment on Hockey Night in Canada known as Coach’s Corner.

Throughout his tenure on CBC, Cherry has managed to offend some and downright anger others. But through it all, he’s never failed to entertain. Here are the 10 most memorable Don Cherry moments.

Obviously, you know squat about hockey commentary..

..otherwise you would know that when Don is gone, we will be saddled with the dronings of the likes of....Kelly Hrudy....Greg Millen.....Scott Oake....

I could go on..but you get the idea...Don Cherry is one of a kind...yea, bombastic, arrogant,racist,ignorant, intollorant....but there is no one in Canada that garners more attention than he does when he speaks...and truly speaks from the heart...1st period intermissions will have me changing the channel when he retires...

Don Cherry has been the best things on CBC broadcast for years. Even in the midst of crappy Leaf game he has always been a hightlight.

While I don't always agree with him, he does make me laugh. Those quotes are great. Some people think like Cherry but he has the guts to say them in public.

I'll never forget when Don almost grabbed Brian Williams by the throat after the bench clearing brawl at the juniors.

There was a classic Cherry moment 12 years ago where I literally choked on my beer and fell off my bar stool laughing.
Was around December just before the Lillehammer olympic games.
Maclean throws out to Cherry in his disjoint style..
"Don...February...Lillehammer...Tonya Harding...does she go?"

Cherry gives him a sly amused grin and a boisterous lockerroom reply,
"Does she go ??!!!" "You wanna know if she goes?"

Man I was in pain from that one, LOL
