Capital Guy, I feel I should clarify.

We're in this thing together, evein if you're not my client and I'm not your SP.

SPs and customers face a variety of risks when we do this. But we have to find some balance between managing risk and allowing the other the same consideration, don't you think?

We can't start viewing each other as enemies -- for one thing, because we have enough enemies out there in the world of people who don't understand why either you or I might choose to do this. And then, added on top of that, both you and I face enemies who prey upon us because they feel our choice to do this renders us more vulnerable than another potential victim.

For that reason, decent customers and decent SPs do best to find ways to identify each other as distinct from those who might threaten us. As I noted above, I recently loosened my verification policies. Couldn't you find it within yourself to look for ways that SPs could deal with you and yet feel more secure?

Doesn't it serve both you and me to encourage any system that doesn't require one or the other to take unreasonable risks? That allows decent customers and decent SPs to know each other without having to run the gauntlet of shady, dishonest and violent participants?

..c..

Well, Joyful C, thanks for slandering me and painting me to be a horrible asshole, simply because I think the transaction between an SP and a client should be as simple and hassle-free as possible.

I won't make negative inferences about your character or the way you treat the opposite sex, the way you implied I do, but I get the sense you no longer enjoy your work. Too bad.

In the future though, I respectfully suggest you think before you transplant your own industry-related issues onto someone you've never met and heap insults on him.

If I'm such a horrible person who represents everything that's wrong with the sex trade  , feel free to put me on ignore.

Have a nice day.

If you hate playing "the spy game" then give her some verification info on you, so she can have a reasonable assurance of who you are.
Joy, let's not forget the really important fact of this case, I followed her exact instructions, including going through the "spy game" and because she simply couldn't figure out technology, she refused to see me. CapitalGuy was simply exclaiming his frustration with the spy game, and it's little wonder when you have people like this who can't even do it right.

K well here's my 2 cents-I was able to get in just fine to see this lass(i would not repeat fyi and she upfront told me if i was on terb not to review so...kinda blew me away as most sp's i've seen just never mentioned any online review sites..to continue i did indeed as well experienced "the spy game". It's been my experience that the better sp's do ask that you call from a pre-arranged phone booth and have experienced the other end of the spectrum where they just gave me the address when i 1st called-the latter have almost always been ladies that seemed to be feeding a habit/desperate so to speak and on top of that a couple of times during my visit their other "clients" just walked in or knocked on the door even tho according to the sp they got the address in previous days but never showed up only to arrive unannounced. Overall i preferr the cat n mouse game and i preferr to have a little security in knowing that some other gent won't just arrive....as an aside over the past month 2 sp's have told me of by-law booking appts. only to give them a ticket for doing their biz in an apt. sooo? Kudos to them if they want to know who's coming over-as well i've seen my fave sp with bruises all over from lightening up on her "spy game" when biz was slow only to get robbed or beaten up or both. I tend to fall in that category of gents who see mostly 2-3 regs and periodically will try new flavours as i see them in the paper. So from a clients perspective i respect whatever makes them more comfortable and in return when their happy they usually ensure that i leave happy:))(worked for my so all these yrs)I don't know if its my older age but i just don't get all worked up anymore like some of the younger chaps on this board.
