I have a little fungal problem on a couple nails & SP's seem a little reluctant to suck on my toes, if the lights are on.

Any tips?

lamisil?

I'm always dubious about the effectiveness of something I take as a tablet finding it's way to specific part of my body and doing it's job but I guess it works with other drungs like tylenol or viagra so why not a toe too.

If that doesn't work, maybe a small condom on the toe you'd like the affection bestowed on.

There is a topical version of Lamisil you can put right on your nail if it's not too bad of a fungal problem. Ask your pharmacist.

Uh, are you sure they're not just reluctant to do that - period??

For people who are just at the beginning stage dryness and slight yellowing of the outer corneres of the toe nail, it can be driven back by a good maintenance schedule for all foot issues:

* Keeping the nails trimmed short - no longer than level with the toe
* Never wear the same pair of socks a second time without washing them.
* Scraping and cleaning under the nail regularly - skip no more than 2 days and use a sweing needle to ge to the tight spots if needed.
* Apply full-strenght Tea Tree Oil with a swabb to front part of toes before bed time 3-4 times a week. On other nights, rub in Charcoal soap or an antifungal shampoo like Nizoral, Polytar or Tersa-Tar.
* Wash feet alternately with Charcoal soap, Hydrogen peroxide and cleansers with Triclosan

There has got to be something like a topical cream that you could apply from Shoppers Drug Mart in the Foot care area.

Otherwise I guess clip the nail, clean underneath it before you see the SP.

But to get rid of the fungus you probably also need to clean out your shoes and socks otherwise it will just come back. Also your shower could be a source of the fungus too. So I'd say spray your shoes, wash socks in hot water and bleach (if possible) and disinfect the shower. Maybe wear sandals and barefeet as often as possible. Or use something to keep your feet dry.

God I'm bored..... here's what google turned up

a forum with suggestions such as tree oil plus testaments on the pills

HArd Idle beat me to it and it looks like he knows what he's talking about (since he was able to be more specific on products).
