So nice this week to be driving to the office at 6:45am and start to see some colour in the morning commute.
And to stand at the south windows sipping first coffee in the lunch room just as the sun rises.

Discussions of starting DST were happening but the friction of rural vote kept it from being enacted.
So sun starts to rise about 3:30am in the summer. So birds start singing at about 3am.
So you start waking up.
And sunset near equator means sundown is like someone flipped off a light switch. 6:30pm or so.
But in summer hot as snot. So most field sports teams practice at 5am or so, because too hot in the evening after work, and not bright out.
