Just thought I would throw this out there....

To all of those married folk out there who hobby (both men and women, if applicable)

1. What initially led you to hobby (visit an SP, MP...etc) and why do you continue to?

2. If things in your marriage improved (example?) would you stop?

3. How long have you been married and at what point in your marriage did you start to hobby?

This is not meant to be judgemental at all. Two of my best friends are getting married and I see the way they look at each other now and I wonder where that fire diminishes for many couples. Thanks for your feedback!

New guys ask this a lot. Several threads exist already, I'm sure. Short answer is there's lots of reasons. Some wives don't want sex, some guys crave variety, some have wives with terminal illnesses. There's no specific point when "the fire goes out".

And no offence, but I think I'll pass on answering any more specifically on that.

Thanks I'll take a look for them instead!

And I understand not wanting to get too personal...but I do appreciate your input!

1. I started hobbying when I was in the military. Over 40 years ago.
2. Hobbied through two marriages non stop - no matter how good the marriages were. Even when things were absolutely outstanding in the marriage.
3. I was married for 12 years and 23 years and started hobbying well before I got married the first time.

1) I started hobbying at my wife's suggestion. She was feeling guilting about not feeling like sex all the time.
2) I doubt it.
3) 20+ years. Started after about 7 years.

Business travel, Vancouver specifically. About 8 years ago. Never looked back since. Once every 2 to 3 months keeps me active

1. Wife not meeting a woman she felt comfy with at swingers clubs so researched SP's for her maiden voyage, upon doing so she felt more comfy to express what she desired when attending swing clubs

2. does not realy apply

3. along time, and we got into this about 10 years in (yes sadly it took 10 years for us to be open enough to discus our fantasys)

I do not think I am alone here in saying that hobbying provides an outlet for happily married folk who have relationships outside of the norm be it finding an SP for 3 sums, or for women who enjoy hearing about their husbands encounters with an SP

1. Lack of excitement in marriage, both virgins when married, never really developed a fire for sex, feel it is too late to introduce exciteent, she would think I'm acting out porno fantasy.
2. No
3. 35 years, been to strip clubs most of marriage, SP's, MP's only in last 5 years

I started hobbying before my first marriage when I was in the military and posted overseas. I never stopped after that.

Other than the sex or lack of things are fine.We travel enjoy our grandson host BBQs etc.

She was normal sexually up until MENTALPAUSE then turned weird hence the hobbying. Ive suggested therapy her going to see the Dr. etc she's just lost all interest all of a sudden. My Dr. said with meds etc she would be OK but I cant force her to go see her. So I hobby once and a while.
