Tipping and Gifts

Just wondering when and how much you guys tip? Also if any of you have been bringing the girls gifts that seem to be appreciated, other than a bottle of wine.

I have purchased several of my regulars Lulu Lemon yoga gear and this seems to make them very happy, I bring a gift receipt and pay cash so that they can exchange or refund them as they desire. Most are keeping the stuff!

Thanks KIH, But I was wondering for what? Are there stores that appeal these days? I have good things about Aritizia (phonetically spelled) in the Rideau Centre, and I have a lady that has a wish list on guess.ca that is fun and easy. I am sure you are not bringing a gift certificate for Kelsey's?

Any help on this would be great, the yoga gear thing is getting old. If it is a selfish gift for me I get them something from wickedweasel.com!! And I know other hobbyists have purchased sex toys, but this stuff is for us not them.

I always stick with generic things like flowers until I get to know them. After getting to know them the gifts are more personal and easier to pick.

Here's a nice tip that got me huge brownie points: since I knew I wasn't going to see one of my regs until after Valentine's day I popped into Godiva chocolates and got a beautiful assortment for 1/2 price. She still uses the velvet heart the candy came in to this day and loved the candy too. It worked so well that I did it the next year for another reg *lol*

Hope you all remember this one next Valentine's .....

A lot of girls love LaSenza (or other lingerie places) gift certificates too .....

But to be honest flowers are still a big hit, seems guys don't give them very often these days.

Ya for sure Godiva is a hit and it is on sale right after Christmas too and the Bay is carrying it now as well. And I thought the flowers were to cliche but I see I may be wrong. Now Tim's cards never thought of that one, could work, in some circles they are almost like money (not unlike Canadian tire money!)
