works in google chrome obviously. you can always download the image and upload to google search as well.

pretty much if they look too pro, likely fakes. 60% of the peterborough ads are fake pics, and 90% of the ones thats aren't regs.... shame...

Use Firefox browser
You actually need to find and install a couple of add-ons to bring up the context menu options for TinEye and Image Search. They aren't hard to find with Google, (or by using the Add-ons option in Firefox's Tools menu) nor are they any trouble to install. Safari also has GI and TE add-ons available.

As far as I know, if you are not investigating an image from a web-page the only way to invoke either image search is to open their webpage and drag and drop the image from your 'puter onto the target area there.

Mine works in Google. I don't know how it got there, but something added it.
Very helpful, if only we knew what you meant by "…works in Google" we'd be all set. What or where is 'in Google', and how does one get there?

Okay, here goes. My interpretation of the original post was that the morisato wanted to find photos in Tineye and Google image search by looking up photos from Backpage ads. So, what I meant was that I could, when using Google Chrome, just right click on an image and up comes the context list which includes "Search Google for this image". I believe it is a part of the Google Chrome browser. But morisato already replied and understood what I was saying. Which means I didn't really get what he was trying to say.
